ExhibitFXCommander utilizes the most advanced hardware available to provide a rock solid automation solution.

The SmartPAX QC is the digital hardware core of ExhibitFXCommander.

The show control hardware selected for Bowen Technovation's ExhibitFXCommander is based on Dataton's advanced SmartPAX QC. This is the same hardware core featured at Hamilton County Parks' River Road Native Interpretive Center. Each SmartPAX QC can control up to four different devices. Every device connected to the SmartPAX QC is constantly monitored by ExhibitFXCommander. If, for instance, a slide projector miscycles, ExhibitFXCommander will detect the miscycle and automaticaly find the correct slide. Furthermore, the small size of the SmartPAX QCs will free up valuable space in coves, projection gallaries, consoles, audio racks, projection pits, or any other location where show control hardware is found.

Every SmartPAX QC is daisy chained to one opticaly isolated cable. The daisy chain archetecture not only eliminates unsightly wires and cables, but it also facilitates easy expansion. Adding new devices to ExhibitFXCommander is so easy, installation and configuration can be done in as little as five minutes!

Devices are connected to the SmartPAX QCs via intelligent interfaces called Smartlinks. Every SmartPAX QC can be connected to virtually any device, regardless of connection type or protocol. This elimates the need to purchase a particular show control unit for a particular type of device.
