Bowen Technovation's staff provides extensive experience in producing custom programs for planetarium, educational and documentary presentations. We have served in one or more production roles in over 100 education oriented programs including more than thirty laserdisc productions.

Director/producer Jeff Bowen clearly has developed a unique and effective approach to presenting interesting story lines supported by integration of materials his staff and contractors design for :

This progressive understanding of how to utilize new technology in space theaters recently led the new Northern Lights Centre in the Canadian Yukon to contract Bowen Technovation to produce the first three programs for their new Centre.

These programs are the world's first complete programs integrating all components of the new Spitz Electric Sky Theatre which features nearly all of the above listed systems. Our three Electric Sky shows are also on line at the Spitz showroom at Chadds Ford, PA.

Compositing Images for Planetaria and Space Theaters...VisualFX

Our staff specializes in visual compositing, the art of layering still images, motion video, and computer generated graphics. In fact, in 1997 we launched our new visual arts company... VisualFX . Our software and visual editing programs allow us to create full motion animations from your still photos, logos, or original artwork. Or from the work of our own artists and photographers.

We have invented software templates for new panoramic video systems which allow us to produce 200 degree x 60 degree motion pans and zooms. Planetary fly-bys, children playing on rocks beside an imaginary river, two kids discussing DNA inside a fish tank...samples of work we have produced. Our ability to register video and laser images with all-sky materials touches new territory in visual arts design.

Video editing is accomplished through our powerful Media 100 digital editing system, which is considered by nearly all producers in the video industry to have the best picture output resolution. We simply agree. We use the same editing system to produce video and animations or the NFL Indianapolis Colts....after all...they play in a "domed" stadium on Sundays.

Soundtrack Design for Planetaria and Space Theaters

Bowen Technovation has become very well known as a producer of innovative original soundtracks for planetarium shows and large format film theater preshows. When you contract us to produce your program...we automatically include an original, custom all digital soundtrack, with stunning sound effect design.
