We utilize these in our systems to control lighting, advance slide projector trays, trigger audio servers, step through server video clips, fade up video projectors….

The unit was originally engineered specifically for Bowen AstroFXCommander and ExhibitFXCommander show control systems as well as for Dataton Trax systems.

Just plug in the MIDI connector on the back and away it goes.

Here are the details:

The beautiful, anodized navy-blue 19” rack mount unit is designed and assembled completely by Bowen staff and features 16 faders and 32 buttons. The unit is very unique in that each fader is assigned to a MIDI channel 1-16 and each pair of buttons is assigned to a MIDI channel 17-32. The fader outputs values of 0-127 and each top button outputs a fixed value of 127 with the bottom button outputting a fixed value of 64.

Thus, you can use the buttons for on-off switch closure type commands and the faders for control of variable level devices.

Other manufacturers provide fader panels but we have not seen products where you can set each fader and button to specific independent MIDI controllers.
