You can have kids draw constellation outlines on your real starfield or draw physics motion formulas and vectors…name stars…outline molecular shapes, etc. then save your work as a file that can be printed out in color and handed out to visitors as a memento.
At GLPA, Bowen staff member Mark Trotter used StarBoard with the DigiStar II to draw constellations and to illustrate and label over some video of moon craters as he did a little talk about crater morphology. Karen rotated the DigiStar starfield so as to position constellations in the projector frames and Mark demoed his "unique" artistic talents.
...and it works with any CRT, LCD, DLP, or plasma display, even Zeiss ZULIP and ADLIP. |
